What type of hair extensions do we offer?

Our extension stylists are certified through Bellami Hair Extensions — currently offering weft extensions, and keratin tip extensions, for both density fill-ins and/or length additions.

How do I choose which one to get installed?

In your custom consultation your spending plan, lifestyle, hair challenges, and goals will be talked over in detail to then suggest which hair extension method will work best for you!

What is the cost of hair extensions?

The cost of hair extensions really depends on the above! The hair cost itself is dependent on the look/length desired. More length and/or density are on the higher price point.

The pricing of the initial installation is based on the method(s) used. A consultation will deliver an exact price point!

50% of the total is required to book the installation appointment and order the hair. The remaining 50% is due at the installation apppointment!

How long do hair extensions last?

Weft Hair Extensions

Weft Extensions typically last between 10 and 14 months between initial installation and move-ups. The better you care for your hair at home, the longer your extensions will last! While the hair may still be in a good enough condition to reinstall, do expect them to shorten as time passes due to normal wear and tear.

Keratin Tip Hair Extensions

Keratin Tip Extensions last between 3 and 6 months depending on how they need to be cut to match the client’s natural density. They are not reusable due to the keratin tip being heated and fused to the client’s hair so they’ll need to be purchased more frequently.

What is the upkeep?

Weft extensions need maintenance every 4-7 weeks varying between a move-up or a reinstall depending on the client’s needs.

Keratin tip extensions need to be replaced every 3-6 months by removing the old bond from the hair and replacing it with a new bond.

Do hair extensions damage my hair?

Extensions should in no way damage your natural hair. In cases where there is damage, it is typically from inconsistent care. A home care guide is sent to every client after installation with a maintenance schedule set out in the appointment book. You are provided with all the ins and outs of hair extension wearing. As long as the stylist and client both commit to consistent care beforehand, there is no risk of damage!

How do I prepare for my hair extension appointment?

A few things to note before your appointment….

no heavy products on/near the scalp area
plan your outfit to compliment your hair. We loveeeee before & after photos!! It’s hard to get those good shots if your hair is blending into your shirt! If your hair is blonde, wear a darker shirt and if your hair is brunette wear a lighter shirt
plan to be at the salon several hours (exact timing given during consultation), especially if we’re also adjusting your color that day. So bring snacks and wear your sitting pants ;) The salon has plenty of beverages to keep you hydrated and caffeinated! Feel free to use uber eats delivery, or place an order at Chopt next door and we can grab it for you!
